Virajit Pahari

Virajit, known as VJ, is a fractional Talent Partner at Zyn Global. He finds people who fit Zyn Global’s culture and core values, and makes sure every candidate has an excellent experience along the way. Whether he’s speaking with someone in London or Kathmandu, sharing what Zyn Global is building and hearing each candidate’s story is the best part of the job. 
 
Born in Nepal and raised in the UK, VJ has had an entrepreneurial streak since selling sweets in the school playground, and later launched a biryani business at university (Biryani Bros)! He discovered his passion for recruitment in London in 2018 before moving to Dubai in 2020. 
 
Over his career, VJ has partnered with startups and scaleups backed by top global investors, including a16z, Kleiner Perkins, Paradigm, Coinbase Ventures, MEVP, YC and more, and has helped people in more than 25 countries land career-defining roles. 
 
In 2023 he founded Talent Sherpa, a people-first fractional recruitment company, and now works with a select few startups that share his vision. 
 
Outside work, VJ is a devoted dad, a private pilot and committed avgeek, a massive Chelsea fan, and a self-confessed below-average golfer. He’s also a proud British-Nepalese, eager to give back, especially in Nepal.
